Bullet Proof Messenger

Formerly known to many as Gone to Earth, BulletProof Messenger experimented with many styles of music before finally finding their niche. While the melodic guitar riffs resemble that of alternative rock, the programming and electronics add a completely new dynamic. All the different influences are clearly reflected in the music and live performances. Since that time, BulletProof Messenger has undergone many changes. Two new members were added to the group: Jesse Downing, former bassist for Shootyz Groove and Wetwerks, and Scott Martin on guitar.

Maitreya

This artist from New Zealand writes, produces and records all of his own music using whatever equipment he can get his hands on. He loves performing live, because he thinks it's the most exciting way to share music. Maitreya`s latest Live Show "ILLEGAL" has been running for eight months in New York City. He is a SellaBand artist since November 2006, and has already sold 3754 parts. The South Pacifics rowdiest export, Maitreya delivers a groundbreaking album with support from some of the heaviest hitters in the game today. Since The Message was delivered in 1981, Hip Hop music has spread like wild fire into the streets of almost every city of the world. Its only been a matter of time before the chickens came home to roost and a foreign emcee came to America to shake up the game ... Maitreya is that kid! His music is intrinsically South Pacific, reflecting the struggle of growing up with little but music in his ears and a dream to make it out of the Islands to New York City.

Second Person

In March 2007 Second Person became the third band to reach the $50,000 mark which enables then to cut an album. They joined SellaBand in September 2006 and in six short months become the first UK band to top the SellaBand chart.

The band was formed in early 2002 and comprises singer/pianist Julia Johnson, producer/bassist Mark Maclaine and drummer Alvaro Lopez. The band brings together elements of Hip-Hop, Jazz, Trip-Hop and Electronica and fuses them with strong songwriting to form a unique sound that is Post Trip-Hop. Described as "The next big thing" by The Independent, this English three-piece contrast beautiful vocals with dark basslines, sublime piano riffs and powerful beats. Their emotive song writing style, killer hooks and distinctly lo-fi sound lends itself perfectly to visual media and their music credits include three complete feature film scores as well as work for numerous international broadcasters and film companies. Second Person are as good live as they are recorded, allowing the beauty and emotion of their songs, to come through while at the same time maintaining the complex sound-scapes and space that have defined their sound.

Clemence

Clemence is an eighteen year old girl from France. Coming from an artistic and musical family, she was determined to make it on SellaBand. From the moment she got on SellaBand, people fell for her beautiful voice. She only needed three months to reach the 50K and is now recording her album. On this she says: “This disc is very much like me: simultaneously fragile and strong, modest and provocative. The several musical styles included that I'm particularly fond of give it a picturesque and sometimes exotic environment.”

Vegas Dragons

Vegas Dragons is a rock band from Sydney Australia. Lead singer of the band is Brian Taylor. They became artists on SellaBand in November 2006. Vegas Dragons is now over 40 per cent in budget. They have recorded two full length CDs "One life only" and "Shreds". They look forward to recording with SellaBand and playing live to all their Believers around the globe in the years ahead.
